Honors 205:
|
As one of my first class at UW, this course taught me how to think about epistemology and evaluate various ways of knowing. One assignment that I really enjoyed was writing a children's story to teach the epistemology of a particular field; I chose to explain medical ethics (and the four-box methods based on the principles of autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, and utility/justice) through a story about gnomes. This course got me starting to think critically about how knowledge is constructed and indoctrinated in society.
